The Champagnes from the vintage of the harverst 2011 has been resting in our tuns and barrels for the last 6 months. During the next 2 months we will be tasting differents blends alongside the reserve Champagnes to create the new cuvées.

The final decision will be made after a lot of discussion, sometimes arguments. This is an important and exciting time as this will determine the Champagnes we won't be drinking until 2014. So nowhow and imagination are essential.

We will be at the Grower's champagne tastings in New York on the 20th of February and Chicago on the 22nd. We are always looking for enthusiast importers and wine merchants to share our passion for our Champagnes.
We hope this will be the perfect opportunity to meet some of them and convert new Georges'lovers!

"Excellent" and "exceptionnal" were two of the words used to describe our Champagnes in the Grower Champagne tasting of Decanter magazine January 2012.
The Champagne Georges de la Chapelle Brut scored 15.80/20 and 3* being described as "food friendly". The cuvée Nostalgie scored 16.33/20 and 3* having" af ine acidity and an endearing natural ripeness"
