The trimming |

The trimming allows to lighten the vineyards and to give a better sunniness to the grapes. |

The trimming is the last operation before the harvest. From the end of june to the beginning of september, we cut the vine : we suppress the shoots without grapes and the leaves always in order to get sunniness for the grapes. This operation is done manually with clippers and also with an "enjambeur" (tractor for the vines), almost the only motored vehicles used in the vineyards. |
